Sub: Guideline for preparation of specification of lift of different size during estimation.
Dear Sir,
In reference to the subject stated I would like to inform you that it has been noticed that specification of lift of different capacity is being prepared differently by different levels of engineers during estimation. It has been felt that such specification of lift should be uniform.
In view of that I would like to enclose (Enclosure – 1) herewith a proforma for specification of lift that should be followed during preparation of estimates. There is vacant place in the said proforma those are shown in bold letter and should be filled up from the catalogue of manufacturer according to the size and capacity of the lift. For such filling up specification for 13 passengers lift is also enclosed herewith for guidance (Enclosure – 2).
This should be followed by all level of engineers and to be circulated upto the level of the Junior Engineers positively.
