Guidelines for Conducting External Evaluation in School Internship, 2023-25

Notification

(Pertaining to conduct D.El.Ed Part-II External Evaluation in School Internship Including Practice Teaching (Practicum-3/ P-3) of the session-2023-2025)

In continuation of our earlier notification under no. 402/WBBPE/D.El.Ed./2025/92P-06/25 dated: 24/06/2025, this is to inform all concerned that External Evaluation in School Internship Including Practice Teaching (P-3) will be held in between 03/11/2025 and 15/11/2025 in all Govt. /Govt. Spons. /Govt. Aided D.El.Ed Institutes including DIETs & Self-financed D.El.Ed Institutes and in Primary Schools as per the following guidelines:

  1. Immediately on having the date/dates of evaluation from the external evaluator/s the concerned Principal will notify for information of the students mentioning (i) the time of assembly (ii) the time of movement to primary schools for the final teaching demonstration and (iii) things and props to carry for such examination as per our guidelines.
  2. The appointed examiners/evaluators will be given a SMS in their registered mobile number containing a link with User Id & Password for having (i) Appointment letter (ii) Guidelines (iii) Evaluated Mark Entry Form i.e. Mark Roll (iv) Attendance Sheet and (v) Remuneration bill. The user-id and password of the link are strictly confidential and non-sharable.
  3. 25 (Twenty-Five) examinees are to be examined by an evaluator per day and the scores of such number of examinees will be recorded in the prescribed Proforma-Score sheet only as per the given guidelines in maintaining strict confidentiality.
  4. Attendance of 25 examinees per sheet & per day are to be recorded in the ascending orders of their registration numbers.
  5. The Heads of the Venue- D.El.Ed Institutions will get an appointment letter of the external evaluator/s, attendance sheet of the students and general guidelines from their institution login. They are requested to download and print the same for smooth conduct of the evaluation programme.
  6. The Heads of the Venue D.El.Ed Institute will take up appropriate steps to inform the Heads of primary schools, selected for teaching demonstration with date and time in advance to ensure maximum attendance of students in the live teaching demonstration.
  7. Any other measure for smooth conduct of the evaluation may be taken up by the Head of the Venue D.El.Ed Institution under intimation to the Board, if such measure is not contrary to the rules/guidelines/notifications, issued to this effect.
