MEMORANDUM

Subject: Implementation of Geo-Tagging Facility in the Unified Project Management System (UPMS) Portal

The Unified Project Management System (UPMS) portal for monitoring of projects (including tracking annual physical and financial progress) throughout their life cycle, from initiation to completion of the project, has been developed, and the domain upms.wb.gov.in has been live online since 03-05 2023, as per Government Order No. 3580-F(Y) dated 31-05-2023.

Of late, a Geo-Tagging facility has been made available in the UPMS Portal for all projects. Henceforth, all stakeholders of the portal are requested to ensure that both existing and upcoming projects are linked with the geographical location of their respective sites (Geo-tagging).

This order will take immediate effect in the interest of public service.
