MEMORANDUM
Sub: Issuance of A/c Payee cheque for Krishak Bandhu (Death Benefit) Scheme, 2019
Government of West Bengal has issued Notification vide No. 2352/AG/O/COORD (AG/N/PLB/3B-25/2018) dated 22.01.2019 read with 112-AG/O/9M(Nab)-01/2019 dated 17.01.2019 for implementation of Krishak Bandhu (Death Benefit) Scheme, 2019.
It is hereby clarified that payment for the said scheme may be made either by Direct Benefit Transfer to the Bank Account of the beneficiary or by issuance of Account Payee Cheque in favour of the beneficiary, as desired by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer.
