NOTIFICATION
The Governor is pleased to insert the following Provision in “The West Bengal Non-Govt. College Teachers’ (Death-cum-Retirement Benefit) Scheme, 1978”:-
In Chapter V, under Rule 15, the following Provisions will be inserted:-
“15(a). A College teaching staff compulsorily retired from service as a penalty may be granted by an authority, competent to impose such penalty, pension at a rate not less than two-thirds and not more than full invalid pension and special additional pension, if any, admissible to him on the date of his compulsory retirement. The pension granted under this Rule is commutable after medical examination.”
This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance Department, Pension Branch, vide their U.O. No. 25 F(Pen) dated 01.02.2021.
