MEMORANDUM
This Department of BCW has received a no. of complaints in respect of issuance of caste certificates to the persons who do not in fact belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes community. This Department has also received complaint regarding issuance of two separate caste certificates to the same person belonging to different castes. It is, therefore, necessary for the Certificate Issuing Authorities as well as Enquiring Officers to conduct proper verification before issuance of castes certificates to avoid erroneous issuance of caste certificates to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes of people.
