To: The Heads of the Institutions for all recognised Govt./ Govt. Sponsd./ Govt. aided/ Private un-aided schools in West Bengal (including all Jr. High. Secondary & Higher Secondary) under W.B.B.S.E.
As directed, the heads of all recognised schools under W.B.B.S.E. are being informed that all schools must follow the following schedule of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Summative Evaluations for the academic session 2026 and Selection Test for M.P.(S.E.), 2027. Each and every school must prepare the question papers of their own and mention the name of the Institution at the top of the question paper. Head of the Institution of all the schools recognised by W.B.B.S.E. are earnestly requested to mandatorily adhere to the division of syllabi, distribution of marks and model structure of sample question given in the website while framing summative question papers for classes VI to X. The summative question papers should be formulated keeping the expected learning outcomes in mind. The evaluation process should thus be a tool to measure to what extent the expected learning outcomes has been achieved. The Heads of the Institutions of the respective schools shall remain vigilant of this matter, since any all cases of violation if reported shall be answerable.
Schedule of Summative Evaluations/ Selection Test for M.P. (S.E.) from class VI to X

Compliance to the aforesaid policy of the W.B.B.S.E. is binding upon all schools.
N.B.: No Summative Evaluations for Classes VI to X/ Selection Test for M.P. (S.E.) shall be scheduled on Sectional Holidays.
