Standard User Charges for Registration of Documents through e-Nathikaran, 2016

WHEREAS the registration of documents through web-based architecture using Central Server is in vogue under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in implementation of the horizontal transfer of e-governance;

AND WHEREAS the question of re-fixation of Standard User Charges and realization of the same from the registrant members of the public for computerized registration of documents through the system of e-nathikaran has been under active consideration of the State Government for some time past since the Standard User Charges have been last fixed with effect from the 9th day of February, 2007;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred by clause (i) of subsection (i) of section 78 of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) and in supersession of this department Notification No. 582-FT, dated the 4th April, 2008, the Governor is pleased hereby to re-fix the Standard User Charges at the rate of 240/- (Rupees two hundred forty) only inclusive of all taxes per transaction up to 17 (Seventeen) pages and Rs. 7/- (Rupees Seven) only for each additional page which will be collected from registrant members of the public.

2. This Notification deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of April, 2016.
