Notification
In exercise of the power conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 52 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Governor is pleased hereby to notify the following State Laboratories and Institute as State Water Laboratory to carry out the functions entrusted to the State Water Laboratory under the said Act.
i. The Institute of Environment Studies and Wetland Management;
ii. The Water Testing Laboratory of the State Water Investigation Directorate;
iii. The Central Laboratory of PHED, Govt. of West Bengal.
