Lighting Arrangement on Bridge where Toll is being Collected by PWD
Henceforth, this Department would provide lighting arrangements and illumination of all the bridges from which toll is being collected by the Department.

Maintenance of Lights on Bridges by PWD (Electrical)
As per the extant policy, PWD does not undertake maintenance of lights on the bridges. After the construction of bridges is complete, the lighting portion is transferred to concerned Municipality/ Panchayat for maintenance from their resources.

Illumination of Roads and Bridges Constructed by P.W. (Roads)
Lighting arrangement on the roads & bridges under P.W. (Roads) Department may be taken up by this Department as one-time installation work.
