The new scheme called PARIJAYEE SAHAY will provide some relief to the Migrant Workers in the form of dry ration and other benefits who can not avail themselves of food grains under the Public Distribution System in West Bengal.

Quarantine Leave for Teaching/ Non-Teaching Staff of Primary School – Clarification
Teacher/ non-teaching staff on account of suffering by himself/ herself or other members of family from the infectious diseases including COVID-19, may avail Quarantine Leave.

Lockdown in West Bengal Extended (due to Omicron) upto 31.01.2022
Marriage related functions shall be allowed with a maximum of 200 people at a time or 50% seating capacity of the hall/ venue, whichever is lower.

All Government, Government Aided and Government Sponsored educational institutions including training institutions will remain closed until further order in public interest.

Constitution of State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF)
State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF) consists of 20 percent of the State Disaster Risk Management Fund (SDRMF). The balance 80 percent will go to the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).

Submission of Bills in Treasuries during Resurgence of Pandemic COVID-19
Only those e-Bills and Advices, having Bill/ Memo Date on or after 10.01.2022, shall be received through the system in online mode, without physical copies, by the Treasuries/ Pay & Accounts Offices.

Additional Restrictions during Lockdown upto 15.01.2022
All government offices including public undertakings shall function with 50% of employees at a time. Work from home shall be encouraged as far as possible.

Restrictions relating to movement of people and vehicles between 11 PM to 5 AM shall continue to be in force but shall be relaxed for Christmas and New Year celebrations during 24th December 2021 to 1st January 2022.
