The teacher education programme leading to the Diploma in Elementary Education aims at preparing teachers for the elementary stage of education, i.e., classes I-VIII.
Last date of receiving application forms for D. El. Ed. Part – I (Theoretical) Examination for the session 2014-2016 and D. El. Ed. Part-II (Theoretical) Examination for the session 2013-2015 is 30.09.2015.
Application Form-cum-Information Booklets for admission to Two Year D.El.Ed. Course (regular face to face mode) will be available from the office of the W.B. Board of Primary Education on and from 23.05.2014 (Friday) for sale.
External (Practical) Evaluation-2015 in Pre-internship Process-based-Teaching Skill Enhancement Programme for the Session-2014-2016 of the D.El.Ed. Course will be held in the period from 27.07.2015 to 22.08.2015.
The process of admission on the basis of either the Waiting List or 3rd List shall have to be completed within three working days from the date i.e. 25.08.2017.
The D. El. Ed. Part-II (Theoretical) Examination, 2016 for the session 2013-2015 (Old Syllabus) will be commenced on and from 21st April, 2017 and ended on 2nd May, 2017.
Information Sheet for Registration of students under-going 2-year D.El.Ed Course is available on and from 13.06.2016 on payment of Rs. 600/- per student.
Classes of Second year of the session 2014-2016 will be started from July, 2015. Hence, first year students of 2014-2016 session may be admitted provisionally to Second year of D. El. Ed. Course.
All the Heads of D. El. Ed. Institution are being informed that D. El. ED. Part-II External Practical Examination, 2016 for the session 2014-2016 will start on and from 17th April, 2017.
All the Heads of the D.El.Ed. Institutions are requested to release the deputed students of second year D.El.Ed. Course of session 2015-2017 in the afternoon on 30/06/2017.
