Sub: Submission of list of Schools/Education Institutions, Co-ordinators and Mentors/ Counsellors.
Ref: Framing of programme of training (D.El. Ed) of Para/Contractual teachers, teaching staff of MSKs, SSKs under Panchayat and M.A & M.E departments and Para-Teachers through ODL mode under West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
With reference to the subject mentioned above, this is to inform him/her that the Govt. of West Bengal is going to arrange for training (D.EL ED) of teaching staff of MSKs, SSKs under Panchayat and M.A & M.E departments and Para-Teachers through ODL mode under West Bengal Board of Primary Education. To conduct the programme one Co-ordinator and six Mentors are required per study centre.
He is requested send the list of Schools/ Madrasahs three per Block/Municipality/Borough having hall/room for sitting accommodation of hundred heads, good connectivity for transport to be used as study centres with the name of one coordinator (HM/TIC/AT), six Mentors/ Counsellors (Post Graduate Teachers with B.Ed/PGBT) of different subjects for chalking out the training programme of the teaching staff of the MSKs, SSKs and Para-teachers.
The Personal Contact Programme of the trainee teaching staff will be held on holidays and /or week days beyond school hours at the said study centres. The teachers must have 55% marks at the Post Graduate level to work as co-ordinators. Teachers having orientation in RTE, 2009, NCF-2005 and knowledge in distance mode of teaching learning should be preferred.
The list of study centres, co-ordinators and mentors/counsellors must reach this office In soft copy through e-mall as well as hard copy positively by 20th Nov, 2013.
This should be treated as extremely urgent.
