Old nomenclature of degree offered by WBBME is Alim. New nomenclature is Dakhil/ Senior Madrasah Examination.

New Nomenclature of 10th Standard Degree offered by WBBME

Two altenative names have been emerged from the meeting of Syllabus Committee, Board Meeting and Convention of selected Madrasahs: a) Dakhil and b) Senior Madrasah Examination for the new nomenclature.
