Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief do not exceed the ceiling limit and who are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus, are paid ex-gratia grant in lump-sum.
Employees of the Public Undertakings who are not eligible to get Bonus/ Ex-gratia on account of their revised emoluments having been exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. as on 31.03.2021 may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4500/- per head.
No application for grant from the Clubs running concurrently at the same premises or building or at the same station will be ordinarily considered. If there are more than one Clubs at the same premises/ buildings/ stations attempts should therefore be made coordinate themselves for the purpose of receiving grants.
Governor has been pleased to introduce a scheme viz. Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Workers in Locked out Industrial Units (FAWLOI) with effect from 01.04.1998.
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,600/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 26,000/- per month.
Employees of the Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may also be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,800/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2022 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- p.m. but did not exceed revised emoluments of Rs. 37,000/- p.m.
People lost at sea or river who have to be presumed dead due to sinking/capsize of boats/other vessels, where the bodies have not been recovered and chances of recovery of body within the State are remote due to accident in high seas or in inter-state/ international rivers.
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,500/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Pensioners whose basic pension plus relief did not exceed Rs. 24000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 1700/- only in lump per head.
Governor is pleased to grant a one time Puja/ Eid ex-gratia relief of a sum of Rs. 1500/- per head to all workers for the year 2022 who are covered under the scheme for ‘Financial Assistance to the Workers in Locked-out Industrial Units’ (FAWLOI) including those of the closed tea gardens.
