The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4200/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2020 did not exceed Rs. 34250/- p.m.
In order to provide some relief to labourer/ daily wage earner/ worker, who is in extreme distress, due to the outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19), the Governor is pleased to introduce a new scheme called Prachesta (প্রচেষ্টা).
Guidelines for providing financial assistance to the distressed workers of the locked out/ closed Jute/ Other Industry of the State of West Bengal where suspension of work have been imposed.
A financial assistance of one-time exgratia payment of Rs. 1,000/- will be provided under the scheme to such worker who is residents of West Bengal and who is stranded in other parts of the country due to lockdown because of Corona Virus (COVID-19).
Grant of Ex-gratia payment for the Financial Year 2018-19 to the Pensioners of all the State-aided Universities including the University BT & Evening College, Coochbehar under the administrative control of this Department and West Bengal State Council of Higher Education.
Governor has been pleased to decide that all State Government Pensioners whose basic pension plus Dearness relief on pension as on 31st March, 2019 did not exceed Rs. 26,000/- only and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,100/- only in lump per head.
The employees of the Public Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,000/-per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31st March, 2019 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- per month but did not exceed Rs. 30,000/- per month.
Ex-gratia grant @ 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only in each death case, to the next-of-kin(s) of the person who was killed as a result of Natural Calamity like Flood, Cyclone, Earthquake, Tornade, Hailstorm, Lightning etc. and anything directly or indirectly resulting from Natural Calamity.
Governor is pleased to formulate and introduce a scheme, namely, JALADHARA, for extending financial assistance for replacement or conversion of the existing ‘BHUTBHUTI’s by safe and secure mechanically propelled boats in the interest of public safety.
Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief on pension as on 31.03.2018 did not exceed Rs. 25,000/- are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2,000/- per head.
Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief on pension as on 31.03.2018 did not exceed Rs. 25000/- and are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus shall be paid an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 2000/-
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,800/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 28,000/- per month.
