Pensioners whose basic pension plus dearness relief do not exceed the ceiling limit and who are not eligible for ad-hoc bonus, are paid ex-gratia grant in lump-sum.

Government expects that the employers in the unorganized sectors shall also pay bonus/ex-gratia to their workers before commencement of Durga Puja, 2017.

An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,600/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 26,000/- per month.
To provide a financial assistance of Rs. 2000/- for performing rites and rituals and to meet incidental expenses related to cremation/ burial of the deceased person.
