Governor has been pleased to accord sanction of Interest-free festival advance upto a maximum of Rs. 22,000/- only to State Government employees whose revised emoluments on 31st March, 2026 exceeded Rs. 46,000/- p.m. but did not exceed Rs. 54,000/- p.m.

The employees of the Public Undertakings may be allowed to draw an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4200/- per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31.03.2020 did not exceed Rs. 34250/- p.m.

The employees of the Public Undertakings/ Statutory Bodies may be granted an ex-gratia grant of Rs. 4,000/-per head provided their revised emoluments as on 31st March, 2019 exceeded Rs. 10,000/- per month but did not exceed Rs. 30,000/- per month.

Interest-free festival advance upto a maximum of Rs. 8,000/- only to state Government employees whose revised emoluments on 31st march, 2019 exceeded Rs. 30,000/- per month but did not exceed Rs. 36,000/- per month.

Festival Advance to Education/ Panchayat/ Local Bodies Staff
The benefit of interest-free festival advance will also be admissible to the regular teaching and non-teaching staff of the educational institutions and regular employees of Panchayat and Local bodies.

Bonus/ Ex-Gratia to Employees of Public UT, 2017-18
An ex-gratia grant of Rs. 3,800/- per head may be granted to the employees of Public Undertakings whose monthly emoluments is below Rs. 28,000/- per month.

Interest-free festival advance of Rs. 6000/- only may be granted whose revised emoluments on 31.03.2018 is in between Rs. 28,000/- and Rs. 36,000/- per month.

Festival Advance to all Employees of Darjeeling
All Employees of Darjeeling district will get one month’s salary/ remuneration/ wages as interest free advance if they join their duties by 15th September, 2017.
