Free Medicine refers to pharmaceutical products provided to individuals without any cost, typically offered by government health programs, charitable organizations, or during health emergencies.

Free of Cost Medical Treatment for Victims of Court

All hospitals within the territory of the State of West Bengal either run by or registered with the Govt of W.B. shall provide first-aid or medical treatment, free of cost, to the victims of Court.

Procedure for Medical Examination of Rape Victims

Recommendation of National Human Rights Commission regarding Medical Examination of rape victims. Henceforth Medical Examination of sexual assault victims cannot be denied on the pretext of Court order.

Provide Full course of Medicine to OPD Patients at first visit

Govt health facilities/units will provide full course of medicine to the patients as per prescription provided by the attending physician in the OPD at the time of/during the first visit at Govt hospital & also at emergency department.
