A Health District is an administrative division responsible for healthcare services in a specific region. It oversees hospitals, clinics, disease control, and public health programs to ensure medical care and well-being for residents.
Seven new Health Districts have been announced by the State Government at Jhargram, Nandigram, Basirhat, Diamond Harbour, Rampurhat, Bishnupur and Assansol.
