All offices under the Government of West Bengal will be closed at 2 p.m. on 01.07.2015 on account of the Birth Day of Late Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Ex Chief Minister of West Bengal.
Classes will remain suspended in all Government, Government Sponsored and Non-Govt aided schools (Primary to Higher Secondary) from 08.06.2015 to 13.06.2015. The Schools may reopen from 15.06.2015.
Bye-Elections to 14-Bangaon (SC) Parliamentary Constituency and 88-Krishnaganj (SC) Assembly Constituency scheduled to be held on 13th February, 2015 (Friday) declared as public holiday.
Summer Vacation from 19.05.2015 to 07.06.2015 in the Holiday List of 2015 for all Secondary Schools in West Bengal will be read as 18.05.2015 to 06.06.2015.
Fateh-Dwaj-Daham will fall on Sunday i.e 04-01-2015 which is a public Holiday under N.I Act and on 24-12-2015, Thursday which has already been notified as holiday.

Uniform list of maximum number of holidays to be observed in the academic session-2015 (01 January, 2015 to 31 December, 2015). The total number of Holidays in the Academic Year would be fixed at 65 days.

In cancellation of the earlier notification, all Government, Government sponsored and Non-Government aided and unaided schools will reopen on 27th October, 2014 after Puja holidays as per holiday list of W.B.B.S.E.
Emergency units of all Hospitals upto the level of Bedded PHCs will remain open on 24X7 hrs basis in order to tackle any disaster if arise during Puja Holidays.
