A missing person is an individual whose whereabouts are unknown, and their location cannot be determined. This often involves cases of abduction, accidents, or voluntary disappearance, prompting investigations by authorities to locate them.
Investigating Officer shall also examine the friends, teachers, acquaintances, etc. for eliciting information about the missing persons, circumstances in which he or she went missing.
The family must lodge a report with the concerned Police Station and obtain a report that the employee has not been traced after all efforts had been made.
