Sanskrit

Sanskrit is an ancient Indo-Aryan language that is the classical language of India and the liturgical language of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. It is one of the oldest known languages and has a rich literary and philosophical tradition. Sanskrit is the root of many modern languages in South Asia and is still studied for its historical and cultural significance.

Status of Sanskrit Education in West Bengal

Government of India has constituted the 2nd Sanskrit Commission to devise its Sanskrit Policy has informed that the Commission is in need of information with regard to status of Sanskrit Education in the State of West Bengal.
