For Meritorious students belonging to Minority Communities who are pursuing Technical/ Professional Courses at Under Graduate/ Post Graduate Level.
State level National Talent Search Examination, 2016, for the students of class X or for those who will appear at the 10th level examination, 2016 through ODL mode will be held on November 8, 2015.
WBMDFC invites online applications from meritorious students belonging to Minority Communities who are pursuing Technical/ Professional Courses at Under Graduate/ Post Graduate level in India.
The Student should belong to a non-Hindi speaking State and be ordinarily residing in West Bengal. His /Her mother-tongue should not be Hindi. Last date: 30.12.2017.
The beneficiaries of this scheme are the students of whose parents are flayers, tanners, scavengers, waste picking/ collecting or engaged in similar other profession.
H.S. passed candidates of 2015 are advised to visit National E-Scholarship Portal ) for online application of Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship, 2015.
Felicitation programme of the students with disability (Visual/ Hearing impairment, Mental retardation) and the inmates of the Social Welfare Homes will be held on 26.09.2013. The first task is to collect the names of the proposed awardees.
Those candidates who have not received their admit cards for the 2nd Level NTSE, 2014 conducted by NCERT, New Delhi on 11.05.2014 (Sunday) are advised to visit NCERT’s website www.ncert.nic.in.
Applications for Pre-Matric scholarship for Minority students are to be submitted through Offline (for classes I-VIII) and Online mode (for classes IX-X).
Applications are invited from needy and meritorious students. Students having an annual family income below Rs. 80,000/- are eligible for this scholarship.
