Shiksharatna is an award given to outstanding teachers in recognition of their excellence in education and contribution to student development. It is presented by various governments or institutions to honor dedication, innovation, and impact in the field of teaching.

Teachers including Head of the Institutions having minimum 20 years of teaching experience can only apply through the portal.
Those, who have already awarded once with Shiksharatna Award, are not eligible to apply further.
Intending teachers may also install ‘WB – Shiksharatna Award’ – android app, version 1.0.10 or above from Google Play Store for the purpose.
Government of West Bengal has decided to award Shiksha Ratna to 100 teachers from the State. The List comprising of Primary, Secondary and Madrasah Teachers is published.
