To: The Heads of the Institutions for all recognised Govt./ Govt. Sponsd./ Govt. aided/ Private un-aided schools in West Bengal (including all Jr. High, Secondary & Higher Secondary) under W.B.B.S.E.
Sub: Suspension of Academic activities of the Secondary Section which are Centre/ Venue of Higher Secondary Examination, 2026.
Ref: Memo No. L/PR/031/2026 dated 03.02.2026 of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education
The undersigned has been directed to inform all concerned that the Secondary Schools which are selected as Centre/ Venue of Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 (Semester-IV, Supplementary Examination of Semester-III and under Old yearly/ Annual system) shall keep all its academic activities including the classes of secondary section suspended to facilitate secure and fair examination process during 12.02.2026 to 27.02.2026 as per the request in the letter of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education under reference.
All concerned are requested to extend their full cooperation in this regard.
