Task Force for West Bengal State Urban Livelihood Mission

Governor is pleased to constitute Task Forces at Kolkata Municipal Corporation and ULB Level for implementation of West Bengal State Urban Livelihood Mission under National Urban Livelihood Mission.

NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India has restructured ‘Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rojgar Yojna’ as ‘National Urban Livelihood Mission’ (herein referred as NULM) and accordingly the State Government has constituted ‘West Bengal State Urban Livelihood Mission’ (herein referred as WBSULM) under Gazette Notification No. 227/MA/C-10/3S-30/2013 dated, Kolkata, the 18th March, 2014;

AND WHEREAS in terms of para No. 8 of guidelines on ‘National Urban Livelihood Mission Self-Employment Programme Component (SEP)’ issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India in regard to constitution of Task Force at ULB Level for recommending/cases for individual and group enterprises for onward transmission to the banks by the Urban Local Body;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Governor is pleased hereby to constitute Task Force at ULB Level (except Kolkata Municipal Corporation) for implementation of ‘West Bengal State Urban Livelihood Mission’ consisting of:

  1. Mayor/Chairperson of the concerned Urban Local Body – Chairman
  2. CIC/ Councillor looking after NULM in the Urban Local Body – Member
  3. Any Branch Manager from Lead District Bank within the area Member as nominated by Lead District – Manager
  4. City Project Officer of the concerned Urban Local Body – Member-Convenor
  5. Assistant Project Officer of the concerned Urban Local Body – Member
  6. General Manager, District Industries Centre or his nominee – Member
  7. One branch Manager from each nationalized bank within the Urban Local Body (to be decided by Chairman in case of more than one) – Member
  8. Representative from Area Level Federation/ City Level Federation – Member
  9. Any elected representative or officials Committee desires to Co-opt – Member

  2. Joint Municipal Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation and Nodal Officer, NULM – Member-Convenor
  3. Representative from Lead Bank – Member
  4. City Project Officer – Member
  5. Assistant Project Officer (s) – Member
  6. Representative from Director, MSME – Member
  7. Two Senior Bank Managers as decided by the Chairman – Member
  8. Representative from Area Level Federation/ City Level Federation – Member
  9. Any elected representative or officials Committee desires to Co-opt – Member
