    Dear Members,
Here given is an Automated Pay Fixation Module for single fixation either for Career Advancement or Promotion. Another module for double fixation i.e. Promotion after Career will be posted if this one is found to be useful and working. Please read the comments, input data, and click ‘Fix Pay’ then just get a print in legal page. Please bring any non-functionality to my notice.
Limitation: Works only with MS Office 2007 or later.

A new updated version has been uploaded.

Thanks for your nice efforts. Its great looking. I am very happy to see you having so much knowledge in excel. But the problem still persisting. I am sure you will fix it. I think its due to cut from one page and paste in another page. In your computer you cant observe it. If you check it in another computer, you can observe the error. Best wishes.

I have uploaded the corrected version, Have you checked it ?
There is no cut from one page and paste in another. It is Computer independent.
One thing is important as is written – Computer date setting should be dd/mm/yy or dd/mm/yyyy and data input in the module should be in dd/mm/yy format. Otherwise it will not be able to calculate the complexity.

    Re: Automated Pay Fixation Module
    Dear Mr.
It’s good looking and the report is also fine but I think there is some problem in inserting data in the Excel Sheet. It shows in some respects without value. There is no scope for 10 or 20 years’ benefit for teachers. Please check the utility once again and attach the modified one . I think many people will be benefited by using the utility.Best of luck. Happy New Year.

    Dear Mr. Paul,
    Firstly, Happy New Year wishes.
Secondly sorry, I forgot to mention that the matters related to teachers have not been included in the utility. For teachers, a different utility is to be prepared.
    Regards,
    Ray

    Re: Automated Pay Fixation Module
I find some difficulty while comparing with 2728-F dt. 07.04.2009 in respect of functional movement on MCA 2001 on 8/16/25 years benefit. Kindly clarify.

    Re: Automated Pay Fixation Module
Hi Mr. Ray ! Thanks for this very useful utility. I think the Grade Pay will not increase on the date of fulfilling 8/16/25 yrs (in case of CAS/ MCAS benefit). CAS/MCAS benefit is a Non-Functional movement.

    Hello Mr. Kundu,
You are absolutely right. Thanks. Actually it was prepared on the basis of the initial orders of ROPA’09 though the utility was uploaded later. You will see that in the first some orders there was no bar on giving the initial fixation benefit i.e. the increase in the Grade Pay in case of a Non-functional movement. Later a clarificatory G.O. was issued to the effect what you said. But it was entirely my fault that I could not manage to rectify the Fixation Module and Upload it in time.
Now, an updated version of the same has been uploaded. Do check it and please notify me about any non-functionality or error you notice.
    Regards.
