Re: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
While trying this for a hypothetical case of CAS, I found that #VALUE is showing at the left side just below the office address.
In pay fixation calculation there are two paragraphs, i) initial pay fixation and ii) final pay fixation. In my trial run the initial pay fixation paragraph shows no data (X), so should not it be hidden?
Overall, other things are working fine.August 28, 2014 at 2:51 pm #79809AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
@ nemo.
Thanks for your feedback. I checked it. It’s ok in my PC. I wonder what the problem is.
About hiding of the rows meant for initial fixation in case of MCAS, there is a problem and I could not overcome it. I could not find any formula to conditionally hide some rows or columns. It could be done through vba codes, but I avoided it as users have to enable Macros before running the utility and system generally suggest not to do that for security reasons. I am searching for any formula that can do that but I am afraid there is none of it’s kind.September 3, 2014 at 3:10 pm #79829AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Hi Mr. Ray ! In this new utility unreadable contents are present. It doesn’t work properly. # value is showing in too many cells. Cell comments are not present.September 3, 2014 at 3:33 pm #79830AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
@pkk: You need to fill up all data of the form.
I checked the new version and it is working fine in my case.September 7, 2014 at 3:40 pm #79837AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
Friends , I am in some trouble with this utility only. I am using Windows 7 & MS 7. After downloading this utility when I am trying to open it a Dialog Box ‘Microsoft Office Excel’ is coming. Where it is seen that “Excel found unreadable content in ‘Auto Pay Fixation – Single.xlsx’. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook, click Yes.” But clicking ‘Yes’ this utility is not working as it is. What I have to do ?September 7, 2014 at 4:17 pm #79838AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
@pkk: The said error is shown when an incomplete download occurs. Try re-download the utility and check.
The only warning shows after opening the utility is that, “Protected View: Be Careful-files from internet can contain viruses. Unless ……”;
You should click “Enable Editing”.
This feature is for MS 2007 onwards.September 16, 2014 at 4:04 pm #79847AnonymousInactiveRe: Automated Pay Fixation Module ( for W. B. Govt. Employee
