Mr. x joined the service on 01-07-2007. He was on unauthorised absence from 02-08-14 to 28-04-2019.
now the order has been issued as “Leave for unauthorised absence of Mr. x from 02-08-14 to 28-04-2019 would not be granted ,there by entailing loss of pay for the period in question and break in service in terms of rule 34(3)(iii) of WBSR, Part-I”
Now the question arises whether Mr. x will get the benefit of service for increment etc from 01-07-2007 to 01-80-2014 & whether Mr. x ‘s pay w.e.f. 29-04-2019 (date of resuming duty) will be started at the amount as on 01-07-2014 or at the amount as on 01-07-2007 (i.e. date of joining service)
