Ceiling of HRA if Spouse is in Private School

I am a state government employee in West Bengal Medical Education Service, my HRA is Rs. 5142/month. My wife has recently got the job of a teacher in a private school, run by Aditya Birla group, she gets Rs. 2348/month as HRA. Please let me know whether the rule of ceiling of HRA at Rs. 6000/month will be applicable in our case or not, as my wife is in a private school and not in a government run or aided institution

As your spouse is working in a private organisation, the said rule is not applicable, i think.

Since Govt order no 5839 F(P) dt 9.7.12 the private employees has come under scanner same as got/semi govt employees. Link: /files/2013/10/HRA.pdf
