December 21, 2012 at 3:54 pm #68310AnonymousGuestQuote:The government is all the more under pressure because of its commitment to release an installment of the pending 27% DA. Mamata wants to clear at least 6% now and another 7% by March. This would add a burden of Rs 100 crore next month. At the end of the current fiscal, the total debt burden will soar to Rs 2,31,203 crore.
Since the government can’t defer the obligatory payment of DA to the next fiscal, it finds itself in a fix. The government, according to officials in the know, has already been tapping chunks of funds earmarked for developments.

Yup, you are right friend @saij. Actually the dues were 6%, 7% , 7% and 7%. So this time the DA declared should have been 6% or 6+7=13% etc. But CM announced 7%. Quite confusing. isn’t it? I mean which 7% it is. is it the last one? Then DA is up to date.January 5, 2013 at 2:56 pm #76270AnonymousGuest
Dear friend, please ask the question to C.M. She can give the answer of your question. I an not C.M.November 19, 2014 at 12:33 pm #80004AnonymousGuest
