    Re: For onduty
The very appointment letters as an examiner or polling personnel in case of examiner’s duty of MP or HS and election duty are documents on the basis of which you can claim on duty leave. All the necessary dates are written over there. You can claim on duty leaves on those days only. And all such letters are distributed through the HM of a school. Still if your HM asks for documents, provide him with a copy of such letter.

The appointment letter of as Examiner or as Polling Personnel is distributed by the HM. The H.M. also receive a list of the teachers for the purpose from the authority. The H.M. handover such letters to the teacher with their signature for his/her record. So, there should be no problem to get On Duty for the day (s).
But, In case of the Madhyamik Pariksha, there is only mentioned the date of receiving (meeting) of answer script in appointment letter. And the examiner submits the answer sheets in 3 (three) installments (days). A few examiner are there who submit all the scripts only one or two installment (s), but claims for 3 days of ON DUTY to their H.M. In this abuse of situation the H.M. may claimed the proof of duty. The WBBSE gave the order to issue a receipt (s) mentioning the submission dates and the No. of answer scripts received by the Head Examiner. H.M. gives the teacher as on duty on production of such receipt(s).
In case of the H.S. Examiner, there in mentioned (date) 3 days in appointment letter, one for meeting( receiving) and two for submission the answer script.
Again for the scrutiny of answer papers the scrutineer (s) get 3 days for Madhyamik Pariksha and two days for H.S. Examination.
The H.M. can allow On Duty only receiving the proof (documents).
    Thanks a lot.

    1. On both appointment letters for examiners (MP, HS) the dates of Examiners’ Meeting and the dates of submission of answer scripts to the HE are clearly mentioned. Here are proofs (scanned copy) Appointment_HS-MP.pdf
    2. Form No. 2 (H) – 18, i.e., the receipts our HE provides us, is only the proof of submission of answer scripts to the HE, not for a proof to claim on duty leave.
    3. HS examiners are to avail 5 days on duty leave and examiner-cum-scrutinisers 9 days on duty leave. Here is the order On Duty HS Examiner-Scritiniser.pdf
