The vacancy needs to be reported to the DI office from the school’s end and thereafter the DI will issue Prior Permission for appointment of HM at the said vacancy. Now the school has to submit The Vacancy Status with the prior Permission with the DI who in turn forward the same to the DSE and SSC. Only after that a school’s name will appear at the SSC’s website as vacant post.
No one would be able to apply for the post till the school’s name appear in the Service Commission’s list maintaining the above process.

I guess the vacancy has to be sent prior to the retirement date ???

No, it is to be sent after the retirement of the said person.
