Yes, she can enjoy 14 CL in that academic year.

In this matter, there is no clarification in the leave rule. But it is known from the D.I. of Schools that no can enjoy 14 CL in an academic year with 180 days of Maternity Leave. Cl is enjoyed proportionally. “WE CAN NOT ENJOY ADVANCE C.L.” But, in reality, we take in advance that is incorrect.
For Example, for this lady teacher, she has taken 7 days of CL proportionally within June, and then has taken M.L. . How she can claim rest 7 days CL during her M.L. ? As she can not claim the leave of puja / summer vacation or any other leave sanctioned by the school within her 180 days .

If one is in service from day 1 of an academic year to the last day of that academic year, he is entitled to enjoy 14 CL, whether she enjoys Maternity or not.
If one enjoys 6/7 CL up to June before taking Maternity from June to November, why would she not be able to enjoy rest 7/8 CL during December? Why does the question of advance CL arise here?
Does the Summer Vacation or Puja Vacation (in many schools it stretches up to one month) effect any CL of an employee? So why would Maternity Leave do such?
Finally, there is no harm in enjoying one or two advance CL. Necessity compels,more or less, every employee to do so.

if the last day of mat.leave is Saturday of a lady teacher, which day may she join?
this Saturday / next Monday?
is there any G.O regarding?

Dear sovanamrita,
Please follow the rules:-
1) Say, the Puja Vacation is 2nd October to 31st October.
2) Suppose, the child is borne before 2nd October, i.e. 25th September. Her M.L. will be start from 25 th of September to 6 months. (vacation and any other leave(s) will fall within her M.L.)
3) Suppose, the child is borne after 2nd October, i.e. 15th October. Her M.L. will start from 15 th of October to 6 months. (only 2nd to 14th October of vacation she will enjoy).
4) Suppose, her leave (180 days) will end on 25 th of October, then she can enjoy her Puja vacation from 26th to 31 st October. But she will have to join on the very next of opening day.
5) Suppose, she has failed to join on 1st November, and joined on 10th November. Then from 26th October to 9th November, the days will be deducted form her deposited leave or otherwise.
