Is there any circular regarding merger of schools having poor student strength???
our secondary school has only 250 students,and we are hearing that it will be merged with another school.plz discuss this matter.
I know such a secondary school (Bengali Medium) where number of students are about 75 only. After consultation with D.I., proposal has been sent to the Education Directorate to shut down the school and transfer the teachers to other schools. Teachers have exercised option for districts/blocks etc. There is no proposal for merger of school.
