    I am a Central Government employee working in AG Tamil Nadu (Indian Audit & Accounts Department) as a Senior Auditor (GP 4200). I joined the service as an Auditor (GP 2800) on 24.12.12, completed probation on 31.12.14 and promoted on 01.04.2015. As on 01.01.2016 my pre-revised pay band (6th CPC) was PB 2 Rs. 9300 – 34800 and Basic Pay was Rs. 10130. After revision (7th CPC) I got Level 6 in Pay Matrix with revised Basic Pay as Rs. 37600/-. After increment on 01.07.2016 my Basic pay became Rs. 38700/-.
    As I have been selected in WBSLRS Grade I through WBCS Exam 2014, under PB 4 Rs. 9000 – 40500 with GP 4700/-. The appointment order expected to come this year end and I will apply for lien in my present department. Now my question is whether I’ll be eligible for Service Continuation & Pay protection as per WBSR. Is there any precedence of this kind? I am planning to go and meet Group P at Nabanna soon, before that I need some insight on this. Thanx in advance.
