Suppose,an employee has taken 10 days of C.L. in the first 3 months, and resigned from his/her post. Or, after resignation he/she joined in another service where no need his/her previous experience. For example, a school teacher resigned from his post and joined in a Bank or anywhere else where teaching experience is not necessary Or, his appointing authority/ department is not same.
In this case the school authority calculate his no. of C.L. (14/12 X 3 )proportionally and deduct from his salary and submit the same in treasury or in the time of disbursement of his payment, S.A. will deduct from his salary. Board’s Circular dated 24/01/80.
Actually maximum 6 continuous CLs are permissible provided that the continuous period of absence comprising CLs & holidays should never be more than 7 days.
