The previous office records of promotion is also to be considered as per the rules regarding reservation in service/ promotion. For limited number of candidates it will be hard to implement the act. Decisions of the higher authority is inevitable.

EMPLOYEE (ASSISTANT ENGINEER , CIVIL) POSTING AT HOWRAH IMPROVEMENT TRUST AND AT 6TH POSITION OF GRADATION LIST .THERE ARE SIX (6) RESULTANT VACANCIES FOR PROMOTION IN THE NEXT HIGHER POST OF EXECUTIVE ENGINEER IN MY OFFICE SINCE LONG TIME . I AM SERVICING IN THE POST OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER FOR TWO YEARS . IN THIS SITUATION , AS A SCHEDULED CASTE CANDIDATE WILL I BE ELIGIBLE FOR PROMOTION IN THE POST OF EXECUTIVE ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY ?
Can a scheduled caste officer be considered for promotion under post no,4 of 50-point roster, which is ear-marked for scheduled tribes, if there are no scheduled tribe officers available? Relevant circular/order no. may kindly be quoted.
I am Suman Adhikary from Rambhadrapur High School If any School fail to fill-up their 12th post (PH GENERAL) , It’s means S.S.C find no such a candidate for the said School and also gave a non-available certificate to the School for the first time. Now we want to change the roster for general post. What is the legal method for changing the 12th post and any circular or rules regarding this matter. I waiting you legal advice.
I am related with OBC A but there is no option for promotion to the OBC A holder as per 50 point roster.There is only UR SC & ST promotion which is not fair please advise me how can OBC A holder can get the promotion in Government Service of West Bengal.
