Pass graduate (passed without honours) A.T.in H.S. SCHOOL. joining date-22.3.’06. Sub-Bengali. In 2009 completed M.A. in Bengali from NSOU with due permission of MC through resolution. At the time of my part 1 and part 2 exam I enjoyed study leave with pay with the permission of the MC. According to which G.O. I can enjoy the leave, pls discuss.

Here you told that The MC granted your study leave, but what about the DI and the Board…………..you have not mentioned here? If DI and Board grant this leave then its ok, otherwise not.

@ ANANDA BAKSHI: Welcome to this forum.
There is no G.O. for sanctioning study leave for pass graduate school teachers.
Moreover the following G.O. restricts giving permission to higher study.

However, M.C. may sanction such leave in special circumstances.

Pls refer to the relevant G.O.!
For the rest of reply I fully agree! Permission to pass graduate teachers for enhancement of qualifications is barred by para 4 of G.O. 593 SE dtd 27.11.2007. So, there is no question of grant of study leave.
Anyway, I personally think that the para 4 of the G.O. is unjustified and, encroaches on human rights!

STUDY LEAVE IS SANCTIONED BY THE MC PRIMARILY AND FINALLY BY THE WBBSE. IMMEDIATELY SEND THE MATTER TO THE WBBSE THROUGH THE SCHOOL AUTHORITY. SEND COPIES TO THE DI AND CSE ALSO. IN CASE OF B ED ONLY MC IS THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO ALLOW STUDY LEAVE.
