I received a Tax demand notice in the middle of May,2014 from Taxing officer, PVD Kolkata vide letter no.MV/473181/TDN, dt. 10/03/2014.
Please note, the said vehicle was sold on18/07/2012 and accordingly all supporting documents like Form no. 29 and 30 etc. submitted to your office at Beltola, Kolkata on 20/07/2012. I have also got the stamped copy from your office for my record. However, please look in to this matter and request you to regularise the records.

I purchased a Maruti Alto car exchanging the Maruti 800 car bearing Regd.No.- WB 02 E 8278 from Dewar’s Garage in July, 2009. The car bearing Regd.No.- WB 02 E 8278 is no longer in my possession. It was informed to PVD, Kolkata & Kolkata Traffic Police with form-29 & 30.
Kindly remove my name from your record as the owner of the said car.
