    Dear Friend
One of our senior employee who retired and enrolled under W.B.H.S.2008, now he has got his whole body scanned in a empanelled diagnostic center,
now my question is whether he is entitled to get the monitory relief under W.B.H.S. 2008, if yes kindly let me know the detail procedure to get that bill passed from treasury and forms to be used in this regard.
An early response is highly solicited friends.

You have not followed the procedure for treatment under WBHS 2008. The retired employee had to visit OPD of any Govt hospital or empanelled HCO. If they have suggested for a whole body scan, he could have done it either in that HCO or in any other empanelled diagnostic centre. But, if the report (i.e. resultant outcome of the scan) does not contain any dieseas falls under the purview of 10 diseases stated in Form IV2, he will not get any reimbursement. Now don’t ask about the fallacy, that unless the test is done, how come disease will be detected!

But the cost radiological investigation like CT Scan,MRI,USG etc. is reimburseble if that investigation is advised by doctors of empanelled HCO.
