NOTIFICATION
Attention: All Heads of Higher Secondary Institution
As per suggestion from Directorate of Vocational education and Training, West Bengal and as directed by Hon’ble President, Council, this is to inform that students getting admission to Class XI of the Higher Secondary curriculum are allowed to opt for any one of the vocational subjects offered by the Council as elective subject, even if they don’t have that particular subject at their secondary level. The vocation subjects being offered by the Council at present are Health Care, Automobile, Organised Retailing, Security, IT & ITES, Electronics, Tourism & Hospitality, Plumbing, Construction, Apparel, Beauty & Wellness, Agriculture and Power.
This system will take effect from the 2023-25 academic session.
