Pay Protection of West Bengal Govt. Employees

To prevent disparity in pay of senior and junior employees, a provision of protection of pay is present in Rule 55(4) of WBSR. Not applicable for wrong option.

Ceiling of Maternity Leave Enhanced to a Maximum of 6 Months

Enhancement of the Ceiling of Maternity leave to a maximum of 180 days implemented for Govt. Employees incl. Primary, Secondary, University Teachers and Contractual Employees.

Broad Band connection or Data Card for all SEs and EEs

Governor is pleased to allow Broad Band connection for all the Superintending and Executive Engineers with the existing telephone line or a data card for official use, the maximum charge for which should not exceed Rs. 750/- only per month.

Treatment in Speciality Hospitals outside West Bengal

Cost of train journey for medical attendance and treatment in speciality hospitals outside the State with one attendant, both ways, may be reimbursed.

Enrollment of retired AIS under Health Scheme

Retired members of AIS shall have to pay Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) only as one-time contribution for enrollment of names under the Health Scheme.

Extension of Health Scheme to Retired AIS members

Governor is pleased to extend the benefits of the WBHS to retired members of AIS on payment of one-time contribution of Rs. 40,000/- only.

Class III Hospitals/ Specialty Hospitals under WBHS

Here is the latest updated list of Class – III Hospitals/ Specialty Hospital which are under West Bengal Health For All Employees And Pensioners Cashless Medical Treatment Scheme 2014.

Joining Time

A Joining time of 12 days is admissible where the transfer necessarily involves continuous travel by road for more than 200 km as per rule 81 of WBSR – I.

Payment of Salary in Cash (ePS Scheme)

Allow payment of salary in cash of State Govt. employees who fail to furnish bank particulars to respective DDO up to month of November, 2011 until ePS Scheme.

Payment of Salary through A/c Payee Cheque

Salary to the concerned employees, who failed to furnish their bank particulars to the Drawing & Disbursing Officers, shall be paid through Account Payee Cheques
