The benefits of the West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 has been extended to the retired members of All India Services who rendered services in the affairs of the State and not enrolled under the Central Government Health Scheme under Notification No. 9021-F (MED), dt. 16-09-2011. Such retired members shall have to pay Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand) only as one-time contribution for enrolment of names under the Scheme.
Now, I am directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor is pleased to accord sanction to the opening of a new head of account, “0071- Contributions and Recoveries towards Pension and other Retirement Benefits-01 Civil-101 Subscriptions and Contributions-004 Contribution for enrolment in WBHS, 2008 of the retired members of AIS-27 other receipts” where receipts of contribution for enrolment under the Scheme of the aforesaid pensioners are to be deposited.
This order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department, Group- ‘N’ U.O. No. 0953, dt. 12-09-2011.

You are a pensioner and getting MA. You can enroll under WBHS 2008. You will get reimbursement for indoor treatment in listed Hospitals and Nursing Homes for any kind of disease. And for Outdoor treatment, only for specific disease as prescribed by WBHS team. The details of Nursing Homes can be found here.
