Broad Band connection or Data Card for all SEs and EEs

ORDER
The undersigned is to state that the Public Works Department has already started e-procurement module in the State Head Quarter with the help of NIC. To start it throughout the State in full fledged manner, all the Superintending Engineers and the Executive Engineers of this Department are required to perform online applications for which Broad Band service is required.
After careful consideration, the Governor is pleased to allow Broad Band connection for all the Superintending Engineers and the Executive Engineers of this Department with the existing telephone line or a data card for official use, the maximum charge for which should not exceed Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty) only per month.
The payment will be made by the respective Superintending Engineers and the Executive Engineers out of their office contingency.
This order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department vice their U.O. No. 898, Group-‘T’ dated 24.03.2011.
Thin will come into force with immediate effect.
