ORDER
Sub: Grant of Dearness Relief @ 85% on Basic Pension/ Basic Family Pension to the Pensioners/ Family Pensioners of State-aided Non-Govt. Colleges with effect from 01.01.2017
The undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that as per this Department’s Memo No. 82-Edn(C.S) dated 20.01.2016 the pensioners/ Family Pensioners of State-aided Non-Govt. Colleges have been enjoying Dearness Relief @ 75% on their Basic Pension/ Basic Family Pension with effect from 01.01.2016 .
The undersigned is now directed to say that the Governor is pleased to decide that Dearness Relief @85% on Basic Pension/ Basic Family Pension shall be paid to Pensioners/ Family Pensioners of the State-aided Non-Govt. Colleges with effect from 01.01.2017 and onwards.
Payment of Relief on Pension/ Family Pension involving a fraction of Rupee shall be rounded off to the next higher Rupee.
This order is issued in compliance with the Memo No. 01-F(Pen) dated 02.01.2017 of Finance Department, Government of West Bengal.
