ORDER
No. 208-Edn(CS)/1P-1/2013 Dated, Kolkata the 5th February, 2021
Subject: Grant of Dearness Relief @ 133% with effect from 1st January, 2021 to the Pensioner/ Family Pensioner of State-aided Non-Government Colleges drawing pre-revised Pension/ Family Pension (as per R.O.P.A. 2009).
In pursuance of Memorandum No. 78-F(P2) dated Howrah, the 8th January, 2021 of Finance (Audit) Department, and in addition to this Department’s order No. 172-Edn(CS)/1P-1/2013 dated 28th January, 2021, the undersigned is directed to state that after the implementation recommendations of the 6th Pay Commission, the Pensioner/ Family Pensioner of State-aided Non-Government Colleges, who are still drawing pre-revised Pension/ Family Pension (as per R.O.P.A. 2009) will get Dearness Relief @ 133% with effect from 01.01.2021 till their Pension/ Family Pension is revised.
The Dearness Relief sanctioned herein shall be rounded off to the nearest rupee in each case.
It will now be responsibility of Pension Distributing Authority to calculate the quantum of relief on Pension/ Family Pension payable to each individual case.
For the purpose of payment of relief sanctioned herein, the Principal Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal will issue authority to the Public Sector Banks in Kolkata and Accountant General of other states.
The treasury/ Sub-Treasury Officers in the State will give effect to this order without the authority of the Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal.
