Mayel Lyang Lepcha Development Board

State Level Monitoring Committee in BCW Deptt.

Governor is pleased to constitute the State Level Monitoring Committee as per Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006.

Extension of Time-frame for Issuance of OBC Certificates

Last date for issuance of OBC certificates has been extended to 31st December, 2013. Fresh certificates on surrender of the original certificates by the holders or old certificates may be revalidated mentioning Category-A or Category-B.

Monitoring Issuance of Caste Certificates

Time frame has been reduced from eight weeks to four weeks by amending Rule 7D (12) of the West Bengal Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Identification) Rules 1995.
