Revised SOP for Pre-Deceased Family Pension Cases

Governor has now been pleased to decide that, for pre-deceased family pension cases, referral to the Finance Department (Pension Branch) for examination and decision/concurrence is not required.

Determination of Seniority

The relative seniority between a promotee and a direct recruit shall be determined by the year of appointment or promotion of each in the post, cadre or grade irrespective of the date of joining.

Governor is pleased to decide that if a female employee with less than two surviving children, adopts a child of less than 1 year, she will be entitled to 135 days ‘Child adoption leave’.

West Bengal Registration (Deed Writers) Rules, 1999

Deed Writer means a person who is engaged in the profession of preparing documents, namely, doing the work of conveyancing, including investigation of tide, preparation of draft deeds and engrossing, the deed on stamp paper tor registration and holds a licence under these rules;

Revision of Scale of Pay of Revenue Inspector of L&LR

The Revenue inspector who was in service as such on 31.12.1995 may exercise option to come under revised scale as is allowed vide F.D. Memo No. 766-F, dated 27.01.2009 w.e.f. any date between 01.01.1996 and 01.01.1997.
