Closure of Office due to sad demise of Shri Sadhan Pande, Hon’ble MIC

Due to sad demise of Shri Sadhan Pande, Hon’ble Minister, Government of West Bengal, all Government Offices will be closed on 21.02.2022 from 2.00 p.m. for paying homage and respect to the departed soul of the dignitary.

Guidelines for Presenting Bills at Treasury/ PAO, 2021-2022

Bills received prior to 28.02.2022 should be processed by 04.03.2022. Bills received from 01.03.2022 to 16.03.2022 should be processed within the next day of receipt of the bill.

Use of Government Vehicles on Saturdays/ Sundays/ Holidays

For the Saturdays, Sundays or/and other notified holidays including non-working days in a month, if the vehicles engaged on monthly hiring basis are kept as Stand-by, only the daily hiring charges for such days may be paid on the basis of the Stand by certificate.

Splitting of Project into Specialized Component Works for Separate Tenders

To facilitate timely execution of projects with specialized component works, splitting of projects into the following component works and invitation of separate tender for each such component work is hereby allowed.

Physical Submission of Bills in Treasuries/ PAOs w.e.f 10.02.2022

From 10.02.2022 the Treasuries and Pay & Accounts Offices will start following the usual process of receiving Physical Bills and Advices following physical distancing norms and appropriate health and hygiene protocols.

Closure of Office due to sad demise of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar

All offices of the Government of West Bengal shall be closed in the 2nd half of 7th February, 2022 (Monday) as a mark of respect to the departed icon of India, Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.

Disbursement of Pension/ Family pension through Private Banks

Private Sector banks are hereby included in the list of authorised banks to disburse Government Pensions and Family Pensions in KMC area and also to disburse Government as well as Non-Government Pension drawn by Treasuries and PD Cell.
